Thursday morning at 9.30am – School Eucharist
Next to St Mary Abbot Church is St Mary Abbots School. The children attend a Sung Eucharist every Thursday morning at 9.30am during the term.
This service is open to the public, with each class taking it in turn to participate in the service, to read the lessons and say prayers, with music led by the school choir. For special festival days, such as Ash Wednesday, Remembrance Day, Christingle, the annual Carol Service and more, the whole school takes part and the parents are encouraged to attend.
During half term or on holiday the service is replaced by a 12 noon service. Please click on the link to see our ‘Sunday and Weekdays’ service sheet for the week.

The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed. A man plants the seed in his field. That seed is the smallets of all seeds. But when it grows, it is one of the largest garden plants. It becomes a tree, big enough for the wild birds to come and make nests in its branches.
