Welcome from the Chair of Governors
It is the Governing Board’s job to oversee the strategic direction of the school, and we meet regularly with the Head to endeavour to ensure the school flourishes. We appoint staff, make budget decisions and maintain the wonderful school building. The full Governing Board meets once or twice a term, and we have additional committees to consider issues in more depth.
As Governors, we define and uphold the ethos of the school, promoting the school’s Christian values and encouraging a caring, friendly and safe environment in which the children can learn. We welcome children of all faiths and backgrounds, and the school works with parents and the Church to create a strong and thriving community.
We believe that a high quality education within a Christian framework, provides children with an essential foundation for a happy and successful future. The school seeks to provide the children with a stimulating and well-rounded education in preparation for secondary school, and the wider world. We strive for academic success within a happy and creative environment, and our staff are dedicated to the children’s well-being.
